A respected Noongar man, Kim was raised in the South West region, where he continues to live and give back to the community. As the Aboriginal Development Officer for South Regional TAFE, his primary focus is engaging with the local community to create educational and workforce opportunities for Aboriginal people.
He is deeply passionate about representing his people and has held leadership positions for the past 10 years. During that time, he worked for 20 years in the building industry as both a cabinet maker and plumber, building strong relationships along the way. He has also been heavily involved with the local sporting community through cricket, soccer, and umpiring for the Southwest Football League, in addition to supporting his children's activities.
