Our August Business After Hours was held at Bunbury Catholic College. Being greeted by students on arrival, who then personally walked each guest to the venue, was a fabulous introduction to what was ahead.
Many of our members were returning to the school as ex-students, parents of students, or soon to be, including new member Kapil Guppta from Coltbridge Capital who was Head Boy back in 2003 (pictured with Michael Pepper & Danny Griffin).
Bunbury Catholic College principal Michael Pepper shared some of the school's focus areas, such as VET pathways, work experience, the South West Careers Expo and Year 10 Business Breakfasts.
A wonderful solo pianist and singer shared her talent with us before BCC’s Jazz ensemble performed three pieces on stage.
Whilst students took guests around the campus and to the Trade Training Centre, a few of us were mesmerised by the technology from the VR system. Synergies for this technology to business are endless and we look forward to working with schools to showcase these technologies.
Our Business of the Year winners from our recent Bunbury Geographe Business Excellence Awards, Glenn & Jodie Hoskins from Rollform WA, continued their winning streak by winning the business card draw donated by Bunbury Catholic College.
A great evening – thank you to Michael Pepper, Staff and Students who hosted a wonderful event for us.
