Last night we enjoyed our monthly Business After Hours member connection event, hosted by the Board and team from BREC along with the local team from Seven West Media. The evening, shared with over 70 guests, had every element we come to enjoy when visiting BREC as a venue - lighting, music, drinks, food - and most importantly our business community what were the ingredients for a most successful evening.
After CEO Julie Broad welcomed everyone, SW Times Amber Lilley shared with guests that she was raised in Bunbury and very happy to be back in her home patch as Editor across all 6 local papers. Amber then introduced newly appointed Advertising Manager Daryn on his first week on the job, and the rest of the local team.
Amanda Yip, Chair of BREC followed by Board Member Jacqui, spoke of the Arts and how important it is to support the activities of such a significant cultural and entertainment venue for the region. Many initiatives include the Creative Learning Program; Kickstart my Arts and the BREC First Nations Artist Retreat. BREC have a range of opportunities to engage with their financial supporters.
